Apple is expecting its iPhone 12, which will be the companys first 5G device, to be a huge hit and is planning an initial production run of more than 75 million units, according to Bloomberg.
The iPhone 12 5G is expected to be released in October later than its usual late September launch window with Apple aiming for sales to exceed the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max.
Collectively these iPhones have sold more than 52.1 million units in 2020 alone, according to Omnia figures.
