Apple develops screens that repair itself with “heating”
Apple is developing a feature to fix cracked iPhones, and Apples patent application aims to be a self-repairing screen in a foldable iPhone. Screen breakage is a major obstacle to foldable smartphones like the fragile Galaxy Fold from Samsung, because dirt and other particles can get stuck when folded and cause the screen to scratch or skew.
