Appeal for information after fatal Sunshine Coast hit and run

Queensland police are appealing for information about a suspected hit-and-run in Maroochydore in the early hours of New Years Day that left a man dead.
At 1.30am, emergency services were called to Maroochy Boulevard where a 21-year-old Minyama man was unconscious on the side of the road.
Paramedics administered first aid but the man died at the scene a short time later.
Police said initial investigations suggested the man may have been hit by a vehicle who did not stop at the scene.
Any witnesses or anyone who has footage of Maroochy Boulevard between 1am and 1.30am is asked to contact police.
