ANZ joins Westpac and ASB demanding 30 per cent deposits from investors – Stuff.co.nz
ANZ joins Westpac and ASB in asking investors for 30 per cent home loan deposits.

ANZ has joined ASB and Westpac in requiring property investors to have 30 per cent deposits in order to qualify for home loans.
On Thursday, ASB announced it was lifting its deposit requirements for investors, while not moving the 20 per cent deposit normally asked of first home buyers.
Westpac kept the 30 per cent deposit requirement in place for investors even after the Reserve Bank lifted its loan-to-value restrictions in April.
