Andy Burnham has called on the government to change the shielding policy in Greater Manchester TODAY after saying he was unable to explain the thinking behind it.
In an exchange on Twitter, the region’s mayor said the policy should have been extended in areas subject to new restrictions.
He called on the government to correct the error, which has left many people feeling confused and fearful.
