Children of all ages are susceptible to COVID-19 infection. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) provide data weekly on the demographics and clinical presentation of COVID-19 in children. The initial report from January through April 2020 described the age groups affected. Nearly one-third of the pediatric cases (32%) occurred in children age 15 to 17 years, followed by children age 10 to 14 years (27%).
