The sendoff of Kristiana Manu’a is netball’s biggest story so far this year, but it is a story that didn’t have to happen.
Granted the challenge by Manu’a was clumsy. It was marginally late, and, in fact, it saw Manu’a come off second-best afterwards when she careered into the goal post.
