Amid shuttered shops, hat seller Hamish says eerily quiet mall is ‘upsetting’ – Sydney Morning Herald
Inside the usually buzzing Strand Arcade, three businesses on street level have permanently closed.

“It is eerie,” he said. “It’s really tough … You can see there have been three stores in this arcade that have now closed and they have been here for years, which is upsetting.
“Now everyone is on edge about whether it is going to get worse, stay like this or get better.”
