Alligator Blood was given a rating of “ok” by trainer David Vandyke after his Sunshine Coast barrier trial on Tuesday, as Queensland’s other best horse Rothfire was left at home in his box after a stable mishap.
Both horses remain on track for their first up runs in Brisbane and Sydney on September 12, but it wasn’t plain-sailing as hoped on Tuesday.
