Allegedly violent offender escapes custody in Warwick, west of Brisbane

A man accused of domestic violence offences has allegedly violently escaped from custody in Queensland.
Clayton Alvoen, 28, has been on the run from Warwick, west of Brisbane, since about 2.30pm on Wednesday.
Alvoen, from Stanthorpe, was being escorted from Warwick Magistrates Court to the local watch house by an officer when he made his escape.
He allegedly headbutted the officer before fleeing on foot, police said.
