Allegations against NT Children’s Commissioner Colleen Gwynne aired in Darwin court

A Northern Territory court has heard a high-ranking public servant facing a criminal charge over a recruitment process allegedly attempted to appoint a friend to a permanent role in her office.

NT Children’s Commissioner Colleen Gwynne was charged with abuse of office in July 2020.

Her barrister, Phillip Boulten SC, detailed the allegations against his client for the first time in a preliminary court hearing today.
