All you need to know about new restrictions

While the hard lockdown of more than 2.3 million south-east Queensland residents will end at 6pm Monday as scheduled, mandatory masks will remain in many indoor settings and mass gathering restrictions are also back in effect for the next 10 days.
The state recorded no new locally-acquired cases on Monday, and the same across the weekend, easing fears of a community outbreak of the highly infectious COVID strain from the UK.

Until 1am on Friday, January 22, the following restrictions will be in place for residents in Brisbane, Moreton Bay, Logan, Ipswich and Redland council areas:
