Forys won $250,000 when Mugatoo crossed the line ahead of Russian Camelot in a thrilling contest.
Forys became the owner ambassador for the Kris Lees-trained Mugatoo after winning a Tabcorp competition.
Forys initially voted for Verry Elleegant then Behemoth but Mugatoo became his favourite horse after his life-changing win.
