Up to five international opponents could play the All Blacks in New Zealand before a possible end-of-year-tour.
New Zealand Rugby has confidence it will host multiple international opponents in 2021 and is talking to several government agencies in a bid to make it happen.
Chief executive Mark Robinson has confirmed NZR is optimistic about hosting Italy and Fiji and possibly some part of The Rugby Championship.
The latter could include the hosting of a historic blockbuster between the All Blacks and South Africa.
