Alexandra Hills: Touching last words Kate Leadbetter said to friend before crash tragedy
The last words that pregnant Queensland mum Kate Leadbetter said to a friend before she and her partner were hit and killed by an allegedly stolen car have been revealed.
Kate, 31, and Matt Field, 37, died at Alexandra Hills on Australia Day when a 17-year-old boy allegedly struck them with a white Toyota Landcruiser while they were out walking their dog.
Their distraught family released a statement via video on Friday in which they said their grief and shock was “unbearable.”
