A Russian powerlifting champion has suffered horrific injuries while attempting a 400kg squat at the World Raw Powerlifting Federation Championships near Moscow.
Alexander Sedykh, the reigning champion of the lift, was rushed to hospital after he collapsed while attempting to push up the monster weight.
In vision which you can watch in the video above, Sedykhs legs can be seen shaking while he holds the barbell on his shoulders and prepares for the squat.
