Australia’s Alex de Minaur has beaten Canada’s Vasek Pospisil in the fourth round of the US Open, reaching his first Grand Slam quarter-final.
De Minaur, 21, came back from 2-6 down in the opening set tie-break to win in straight sets, 7-6 (8-6) 6-3 6-2.
It was an impressive performance from the Aussie ‘Demon’, lasting two hours and 19 minutes.
