Newcastle United created plenty of chances, according to Alan Shearer
Alan Shearer said Newcastle fully merited their their draw at Anfield as the “bright, alert” Magpies made their point.
The United legend felt it was a “good month” for Steve Bruce’s men, who made plenty of chances against a wasteful Liverpool side.
“They deserved it. They got in some really good positions going forward but it was just their final pass or effort at goal that let them down at times,” Shearer said on Match of the Day.
