The pay of executives fell nearly 70 per cent last financial year, according to the airline’s latest remuneration report.

“The total value of these shares received by executive management was less than the base pay they gave up in FY20,” the airline said.
The executive team and board worked without pay between April and June as the heavy toll of the pandemic on its business became more apparent. They returned to the payroll in July at 85 per cent of their previous rate.
