Airbnb aims for $47.6b valuation in massive IPO – The Australian Financial Review
Airbnb hopes to achieve $US35 billion ($47.6 billion) in the last blockbuster IPO of a bumper year – completing a stunning turnaround from the depths of the pandemic….
At the top of the target range, the IPO will give Airbnb a fully diluted valuation, which includes securities such as options and restricted stock units, of $US34.8 billion, nearly double the $US18 billion Airbnb was worth in an April private fundraising round.
Airbnb’s market capitalisation at $US50 per share will total roughly $US30 billion.
The company made its IPO registration public earlier this month. Reuters was the first to report in October that Airbnb was aiming to raise around $US3 billion…
