Aged care worker among active tuberculosis cases in Mackay – Daily Mercury
Contact tracing is under way to identify people in close contact with two cases of TB in Mackay

AN AGED care worker is one of two confirmed cases of tuberculosis being monitored by the Mackay Base Hospital.
Contact tracing is under way with the hospitals respiratory department co-ordinating the care for the two cases.
The two are not connected and both individuals are in isolation at home while receiving treatment.
The name of the private aged care home has not been released due to privacy but Mackay Hospital and Health Service executive director of medical services Dr Philip Reasbeck said…
