AFLW star weighs in on Tayla Harris pay saga as search for new home narrows – Fox Sports

AFLW star Daisy Pearce has rushed to Tayla Harris defence after the Carlton forwards contract demands divided AFL fans last month.
In May, The Herald Sun reported Harris had asked the Blues to bump her salary up to $150,000 for the 2022 AFLW season.
As a Tier 2 AFLW player, Harris is currently paid around $80,000 annually. However, only about $25,000 of that salary is for playing football, while Harris earns the remainder of her income performing off-field duties at the club.
