AFL’s Grand Final backflip ‘a load of BS’ declares fuming Suns boss – Fox Sports

Gold Coast president Tony Cochrane, who helped run the AFLs first night grand final, has come out against the return to the daytime and called arguments about tradition a load of BS.
The AFL used the chance of the first Grand Final to be played outside Victoria to also play it at night, with Brisbanes Gabba hosting Richmonds triumph over Geelong last October.
However the AFL revealed this week it would be returning the game to its traditional timeslot of 2:30pm Saturday at the MCG in 2021.
