IT WAS double delight for Lachie Neale on Thursday evening, with the star Brisbane midfielder recognised as the season’s most outstanding player by both his peers and the 18 AFL coaches.
Neale took home the Leigh Matthews Trophy as the AFL Players’ Association’s Most Valuable Player, while he was also crowned the Shadforth Financial Group AFL Coaches’ Association Champion Player of the Year.
