AFL wunderkind redeployed in new role after devastating injury – Fox Sports
Gold Coast Suns coach Stuart Dew says teenage sensation Matt Rowell is now working on opposition analysis for the squad, as he continues to develop his game even while forced onto the sidelines.
Rowell, who set the competition alight before a serious shoulder injury, was seen in the coaches box with a pen and notepad during the clubs Round 7 win over Sydney.
Speaking to media on Tuesday, Dew said while Rowell wont be able to impact the club on-field, he has been made part of the coaching team for his time off the ground.
