The AFL will assess Luke McDonald’s coronavirus taunt of Conor McKenna during Saturday night’s match.
The league confirmed on Sunday that while McDonald’s sledge would not be looked at under regular match review protocols, it would be probed on Monday as part of a broader review of the round’s games.

North Melbourne tagger McDonald has come under fire for an incident shortly after the half-time siren in which he covered his mouth while facing McKenna, seemingly mocking the fact McKenna had tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this year. The Irishman was forced into quarantine and missed a match because of his positive test.
Former Bomber Brendon Goddard questioned McDonald’s actions.
