Multiple reports on Monday night indicated the length of time a concussed AFL or AFLW player must wait until they can play again would increase from seven days to 10.
An AFL spokesman told the Herald Sun its updated concussion guidelines would soon be finalised, while Channel 7 Melbourne also reported the leagues new protocols would be significantly tightened and announced before the AFLW season kicks off on Thursday.
