Players’ Association left furious at confusion
The AFL has issude an apology to its Indigenous players and staff as well as the AFL Players’ Association after its call to make Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander players take a compulsory pneumococcal vaccination.
Indigenous players were left stunned by a recommendation from the Queensland government mandate to have the vaccination as a condition of entry into the state.
