The AFL dream remains alive for forgotten premiership Eagle Daniel Venables after today’s rookie draft, while Fremantle also re-signed a familiar face.
Concussion victim Daniel Venables remains a chance to re-launch his career next year, after West Coast re-listed the premiership forward in this mornings rookie draft.
Venables has not played since being knocked out against Melbourne in round nine 2019 19 months ago.
In what was likened to a car accident, Venables head connected with the hip of Melbournes Tim Smith and then the Optus Stadium turf after going back with the flight of the ball.
