The AFL has denied “covering-up” a biosecurity breach involving Richmond at an Adelaide hotel last season.
Triple premiership winner Dylan Grimes made claims of a breach after the Tigers travelled to face Port Adelaide in round 11 during August.
He claimed that Richmond’s hotel had become a temporary homeless shelter during their stay and jeopardised players’ biosecurity; though at the time, AFL quarantine measures were relaxed and some public interactions allowed.
