AFL CEO details current state of play for 2021 season, quarter-length and crowds – Fox Sports
The AFL is aiming to return to both its regular start date and season length in 2021, league boss Gillon McLachlan has confirmed.

Although the AFL has left the door open for hubs to continue in 2021, a late March season-opener and an increase in minutes-per-quarter will be a welcome return to normalcy for many after a season of extraordinary change.
Speaking to reporters on Thursday, McLachlan was also hopeful some fans would be able to return to games in Victoria.
