Hopes are high among Fremantle fans that this year could snap the clubs finals drought – but the AFLs captains dont agree.
The annual pre-season poll of the leagues skippers revealed only one rival captain is backing the Dockers to return to the finals for the first time since 2015.
Only Carlton and Gold Coast have longer active finals droughts than Fremantle, with the Blues not featuring since 2013 and the Suns yet to reach the post-season in their 10-year history.
