The AFL has dismissed Port Adelaide’s desperate pleas to wear their iconic black-and-white, striped ‘prison bars’ guernsey in next week’s Showdown with the Adelaide Crows.
Port Adelaide chairman David Koch this week renewed the club’s push to don the jumper in the Power’s derby games against the Crows, slamming the AFL’s indecision as “ridiculous” and “totally disrespectful”.
