AFL 2021: Sydney Swans to rest Lance Franklin for Richmond Tigers or Essendon Bombers – The Age
The superstar forward will almost certainly miss one of the Swans’ next two matches as part of the club’s conservative management of the prized spearhead.
What we do know is he wont play every game, Swans coach John Longmire said. Were on the record that that wont happen even if hes feeling well.
He looked as though he moved quite well. Hes done the work but we need to keep doing the work with him, too. Its one game. We need to keep the strength up in his legs and his core, keep being diligent with that. Hes able to then play a bit more footy this year.
