Afghan asylum seeker wins High Court case against Immigration Minister
The omission of a date in a letter has played a major role in Immigration Minister Peter Dutton losing his High Court appeal against an Afghan asylum seeker due to be deported from Queensland.
The asylum seeker, identified only as EFX17, arrived in Australia in 2009 and was granted a protection visa at the end of that year.
