South Australia’s star galloper Gytrash will represent the Inglis slot in this year’s running of $15 million The Everest in October.
Gytrash becomes the third horse to claim one of the 12 slots for the weight-for-age sprint, joining Nature Strip (TAB slot) and Classique Legend (Bon Ho).
Gytrash, trained at Morphettville by Gordon Richards, is arguably Australia’s most improved sprinter over the past 12 months.
