Adelaide woman in critical condition with invasive meningococcal disease – ABC News

A 21-year-old woman from metropolitan Adelaide has been admitted to hospital in a critical condition with invasive meningococcal disease.  

• Multiple close contacts have been identified and six directed to take antibiotics
• It is the second case identified this year in SA
• A man in his 40s is in a critical condition in hospital with COVID-19

SA Health said multiple people who had close contact with the woman have been identified and six people have been directed to take clearance antibiotics.
