Key points:
- The Adelaide vet had treated the dog for six years before its owners moved
- She offered a one-page summary, but not full clinical notes to the Victorian clinic
- A tribunal issued a $1,000 fine and a reprimand
Adelaide veterinary surgeon Francoise Christine Clarke began treating Maltese terrier Priscilla in 2010.
Its owners moved to Victoria in 2016, by which time the dog had gone blind.
But when the Victorian clinic they chose to treat the dog requested its treatment records, Dr Clarke only provided a one-page summary of her clinical notes.
