Adelaide Remand Centre escapee suffered ‘significant’ injuries during arrest, lawyer says
The lawyer for a man who abseiled out of a maximum-security prison in Adelaide says his client sustained “significant” injuries, including a broken rib, while being taken back into custody.

Jason Burdon was arrested in Adelaide’s south on Wednesday night and was charged with offences including escaping lawful custody.
Mr Burdon climbed out of the Adelaide Remand Centre on Tuesday morning by using clothes tied together.
