A man accused of murdering his housemate has told an Adelaide court he was “scared for his life” after his housemate had threatened to put an axe through his head and tried to stab him in the neck over a bad internet connection.

Nikola Milosevic has pleaded not guilty in the South Australian Supreme Court to murdering 52-year-old Danny Barber, but guilty to his manslaughter.

The jury has heard that the 39-year-old used a baseball bat, wheelie bin and bicycle to bash Mr Barber to death at their North Plympton share house…
