ACT to block Victorians entering from midnight to match state’s snap COVID-19 lockdown
Victorians will be blocked from entering the ACT from midnight tonight, and any returning residents from tomorrow will have to quarantine until the end of the state’s snap lockdown, the ACT Chief Minister has announced.
Chief Minister Andrew Barr said the same rules that were imposed on Brisbane and Perth during their short lockdowns will apply again to the whole state of Victoria.
“Primarily we are asking people in Victoria to stay in Victoria … of course there are ACT residents who must come home,” Mr Barr said.
