ACT police bust ‘sophisticated’ Canberra grow house with more than 200 cannabis plants

An “elaborate and sophisticated” grow house containing more than 200 cannabis plants with an estimated street value of half-a-million dollars has been found and dismantled by ACT police.

The discovery was made during a search of a home in Dunlop in Canberra’s north on Thursday afternoon.

Police said the search was part of an ongoing investigation into organised crime and that the grow house may have been operating for “a long time”.
