ACT lifts all COVID-19 travel restrictions for Sydney with removal of Cumberland LGA as a hotspot

The ACT Government has lifted all travel restrictions between Canberra and Sydney.
As of 3:00pm Friday, the Cumberland Local Government Area (LGA) is no longer considered a COVID-19 hotspot.
Anyone currently in quarantine in the ACT who has visited the Cumberland LGA is no longer be required to quarantine.
ACT Chief Health Officer Dr Kerryn Coleman acknowledged the restrictions over the past six weeks have been difficult, and thanked the “strong and vigilant community that has come together”.
“I would like to thank Canberrans for their efforts in keeping our community safe during this time,” Dr Coleman said.
