A woman who died after suffering catastrophic acid burns urged police to “find the truth” as she lay fighting for her life in hospital in Sydney’s west, a coronial inquest has heard.

Monika Chetty, 39, was found by police in bushland in West Hoxton on January 3, 2014 with acid burns to 80 per cent of her body.

The mother-of-three was taken to Concord Hospital but died four weeks later.
