Accused Brisbane sex-toy thief allegedly tried to choke police dog

A man who allegedly broke into a Brisbane adult store and stole an array of sex toys has also been accused of putting a police dog in a chokehold before he was arrested and put in front of a magistrate.

In a separate incident, the same man is charged with assaulting a young wheelchair-bound boy at Westfield Chermside Shopping Centre on October 17 last year.
Carl Vincent Carsburg, 46, appeared in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Thursday via videolink from Brisbane Correctional Centre, with a string of charges to his name. He is currently unemployed and lived in Bray Park before he was incarcerated.
