Parents have been warned to take the watches off their kids immediately, and head back to the shop for a refund.
A range of childrens watches has been urgently recalled over a dangerous defect.
The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission recalled Kaisercrafts Kaiser Kids Slap Band Watches on Tuesday as the items do not comply with the Consumer Goods Safety Standard 2020.
The products, which come in various character faces, were sold at Kaisercraft outlets and online nationally since December 27, 2019, until January 31, 2021.
