Aboriginal chairman quits as Forrest, Ellison battle for iron ore mine – The Australian Financial Review
A leading Aboriginal businessman has quit as chairman of a company caught up in a legal battle between billionaires over an iron ore project.
Mr Forrests Fortescue Metals Group is taking action in the WA Supreme Court that threatens Mineral Resources plan to start producing iron ore in the second half of fiscal 2021.
Fortescue signed a mine gate agreement with AAMC in 2015 that included access to Fortescue infrastructure.
Mr Tucker is the founder of Carey Mining, which provides mining contract services to customers that include BHP, Rio Tinto, AngloGold Ashanti and Fortescue.
