A very familiar face is stepping in to face Whittaker on late notice after UFC twist – Fox Sports
It won’t be against Paulo Costa, but Robert Whittaker’s road back to UFC gold will continue next month in a fight between two top middleweight contenders.

The Australian former 185-pound champion will now face Kelvin Gastelum on April 18 (AEDT) in Las Vegas after Costa pulled out of the headline bout due to illness, according to ESPN.
Whittaker, the No. 1 contender in the middleweight division, went 2-0 in 2020 in wins over Darren Till and Jared Cannonier to get back on track after losing his belt in 2019.
Now, hell prepare for a fight a couple years in the making.
