A regional Queensland pilot training company has opened a flight simulator to the public, giving travel enthusiasts the chance to fly “virtually” anywhere they want.

75-year-old Gerald Victor took a flight from Queensland to Queenstown this week, and border restrictions couldn’t stop him.

“I’ve just flown into New Zealand and we had snow on the runway. It was amazing, truly amazing.” – Flight Options – Pilot Academy visitor, Gerald Victor.
