A R1 debut would be ‘throwing this kid to the wolves’. But Freo’s coach says he’s ‘ready’
Fremantle coach Justin Longmuir has declared emerging rookie Josh Treacy is ready for AFL level, should the clubs match committee deem it needs him for the early part of the season.
Treacys chances of a stunning Round 1 debut continue to gather momentum after a promising pre-season, as well as recent injuries to key-position Dockers stocks. He kicked two goals against the Eagles in a scratch match before getting an opportunity against the same opposition at AAMI Community Series level.
